It was a Tuesday in June and I had the day off and was itching to hang out at the beach. I loaded up a back pack with a beach towel a book, some ice cold water, and delicious red grapes and fresh cut pineapple. I jumped on my moped and rode out to South Shore Park. The beach at South Shore Park is small and pebble strewn but not so much so that it's uncomfortable.
I had sunscreen on all over but special zinc oxide sunscreen on my face giving me an extra ghostly appearance.
This birdie wanted to eat all my grapes and pineapple but I wouldn't wasn't having any of that.
I found the teeniest tiniest little shell in the sand next to me.
I spent a few hours out there relaxing, gazing at the puff ball clouds, watching the boats coming and going It was the most perfect afternoon and I can't wait to do it again.
